Called the most haunted house in Mississippi, the McRaven at Vicksburg grew room by room from 1797 and caught the Civil War full in the face, used as a field hospital in the siege; men died in its parlors and are buried in its yard. It stands much as the war left it, and runs history and ghost tours through rooms that feel stopped in time.
