TRUE: a real one-man megalith, and a real unsolved how

Between 1923 and 1951 a slight Latvian immigrant named Ed Leedskalnin quarried and raised over eleven hundred tons of coral rock into a castle, single-handed, at night, telling no one how. He moved nine-ton blocks alone with hand tools and hinted he had rediscovered the secret of the pyramids. He died taking it with him. The castle stands, its balanced gate turning on a fingertip, a genuine engineering mystery you can walk through.
